LEDs Change Thinking About the Light Bulb

LED's are now used for purposes that go beyond illumination. The author describes how LED's are used to help guests stay awake, relax or go to sleep; change colors to remind occupants about a task that they need to complete; synchronize lighting to music; and optimize indoor plant growth. Soon, we will be able to program LED's to adjust their light output depending on the number of people in a room.
