Sandra published her first novel with St. Martin's Press. To celebrate artists and their potential, she founded Shooting Star Productions, Inc., a non-profit cultural organization that produced two major writers conferences and published Shooting Star Review, an international literary quarterly. She has received Fellowships from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the Dow Creativity Center and has completed residencies at Yaddo, Ucross, Ragdale, Djerassi, Millay, Hedgebrook and Dorland Mountain Arts Colony.
