Running for Water
CCDO UK Well
CCDO UK has secured one spot at the London Marathon in April 2017! We are pleased to announce that Able Seaman Chris 'Bunny' Warren, a reservist from HMS FORWARD in Birmingham, will run the Virgin London Marathon in 2017 for CCDO UK. He will advocate for clean water and raise funds for a great cause! We will keep you posted on his progress and also share ways for you to show your support.

CCDO UK has been making great strides and has secured yet another batch of 9 wells and one latrine.

A New Basketball Field at TaPang

The parenting community stepped up and helped build a new basketball court! This is on top of the soccer and volleyball activities that we already have. The court was built in loving memory of Ryan Alexander Bianco. A big thank you goes out to his dad, Chris Bianco, who financed the building of
this court and misses Ryan very much.

Filter distribution at Hygiene Workshop

17 families and one school at Kampongpluk area received water filters during the Hygiene Workshop. Thanks again to Sheila and James for raising so much money so quickly for their 18 water wells.
Thank You for Generous Donations

A big thanks goes out to...

A Caring Friend, who recently donated funds to build 22 latrines plus a new colorful Tuk-Tuk.
As in the Buddhist principals, he wishes for his donation to be anonymous.

Celebrating our Volunteers & Visitors

Everyone is excited to welcome the return of NYU student Rose Wang and 4 of her friends. They are helping with BMI measurement and will visit the families that received 7 latrines, donated by their group. They were accompanied by our CFO from New York, Andrew Ng and Paul Christakos,
a longtime supporter of CCDO.

Monica Dolan, a teacher from Ireland, currently teaching in Singapore, gave up part of her vacation to spend time in our schools. She worked with our English teachers and helped our Education Coordinator, Pin Sok, give evaluations on his staff. She also spent time in the library reading to the kids.

We welcome, Geraldine Burnett, from New Zealand, who will spend 3 months with CCDO, working on developing our local fundraising in Siem Reap. Geraldine has an awesome background in helping various NGOs, so we are very pleased to have her!
