We are so close to our goal of building 1000 wells!
Shireen Hussein recently honored her mother, Noor Al Huda Shannan, with a well and she told us,
"I actually did a Google search for charity organizations with activities related to providing clean water to regions in need. We lived in drought stricken Sudan. The reason is that I remembered my mother dream years ago of building water wells for people in need but she never had the chance to fulfill it. Now I dream of honoring her name by making it spread worldwide ."
We hope to inspire more people to donate to our well building projects.
Wouldn't it be fabulous to have your name or a loved one on our 1000th well?
A big thanks to YOU, our generous donors, for making this possible. Merry Christmas!
Reports from the Ground
Golf Talent Selection
On behalf of Angkor Golf Resort,
Globalteer Sports reached out to CCDO and asked if we could select 12 boys and 12 girls to participate in their Golf Talent Trial.
They are looking for especially talented young people to train in this sport and feel that it will create opportunities for better employment in the tourist industry. Golf is fast becoming a recognized sport in Cambodia with golfers from all over the world visiting. Who knows, we might yet produce the next Tiger Woods or Sei Jung Kim.

Thank you for your generous donations!
Cayo & Fred Marschner of California have been ardent supporters of CCDO for the past 7 years.
Cayo is joining our January Volunteer Mission for the second time, her husband Fred opted not to join her but instead of spending the money to travel, he donated 5 wells and 5 latrines. These are going to our Scholarship students and each well is in honor of a special person in their lives.
Maxine Marron has generously donated $1,000 because she "believes in CCDO". This is a great start to our Giving Season.
