Community Service Day is Friday, April 17.

Alumni, students, faculty, and industry board members will provide free consulting for four SE Michigan organizations:
-Colonial Plastics
-Conkerr Cancer,

-Clean Energy Coalition

-FAR: Conservatory of

  Therapeutic and

  Performing Arts.

Learn how Tauber alumni use campus connections to gain an advantage when recruiting top talent for their firms.

Engineering Global Leadership student Melissa Sweeney's passion for world exploration has earned her campus-wide recognition.  As the EGL Volunteer Abroad Chair, she coordinated student trips to Peru, India, and Sierra Leone.  And thanks to her persistence, while Melissa is working on her Tauber Team Project at Microsoft this summer, U-M student volunteers will be teaching at a rural village school in south Malawi.

Seattle Childrens Hospital 2008 Team Project
Efficiencies first introduced by Tauber's 2007 Project Team to Seattle Children's Hospital are now reflected in the hospital's new facility.  The hospital increased its patient capacity from 250 to over 300 beds - but because equipment and supplies now occupy far less space, the new building is actually smaller than the old one.
