The May General Membership Meeting was held this past Tuesday May 14. Terry Moran provided a very tasty pork dish with all the accompaniments, thanks Terry. The meeting followed approximately at 7 PM and was well attended. There was an exciting exchange of ideas for the club to act on.
Our Club Manager Peggy Sharamitaro will be on vacation the rest of this week so the yacht club office will reopen on Wednesday May 22nd. Morning Watch and normal Saturday hours on May 18th will be in effect.
The Sock Hop scheduled for this Saturday has been rescheduled to Saturday May 25th during the Memorial Day weekend. I believe the menu will include Hamburgers on the outside grill plus oven fries and Jell-O salad plus root beer floats. Thanks to the Karaoke group for rescheduling Karaoke from the 25th to the 18th to facilitate the change.

Sail Committee
It's 'Find Your Way Around the Bay' time again.
Saturday May 18, 2013 with a Skippers meeting at 1100 hours in the lounge at the club.
The showers should be over by then and sunny skies available for our adventure.
This time we will do course two for you, looking for a daymark near mud island as well as the Navy Yacht Club mini-mark we found the last time and San Diego channel markers 26 and 30, not necessarily in that order.
It should be fun cruising around the bay for a couple of hours and a great opportunity to bring some friends and show them how a CVYC membership card is an invitation to a lot of very cool things.
Thank you all,
Sail Fleet
