Testimonial

We sold our home with Helgeson/Platzke in 60 days, when we received the first offer from our Buyer. Brace and Ryan  were a true asset in pricing our home right, in making the key advantages of our home be noticed by buyers throughout the marketing materials, and in the ensuing negotiation after we received the offer. They know Eden Prairie inside and out, and better than any other realtor. They understood that this one was the offer, and prepared us to position the negotiation to maximize our revenue. We will say it again.. if your property is in the southwest metro, look no further! We do unconditionally recommend Helgeson/Platzke and their team to anyone selling a home here.

By Jim Buchta

The foreclosure rate in the Twin Cities metro during November fell to 0.76 percent of all outstanding mortgage loans from 1.33 percent last year, according to CoreLogic. Nationwide, the foreclosure rate fell to 2.18 percent.

In addition, with the unemployment rate below the national average and home prices rising, fewer Twin Citians are having trouble paying their mortgage. The number of homeowners who are 90 days or more behind on their mortgage payment slipped to just 2.74 percent of mortgages compared with 4.02 percent last year - about half the national average.
