Regional Affiliate Engagement Program
Revised for 2016
We are excited to roll out a dynamic, restructured Regional Affiliate Engagement Program for 2016. Regionals now have the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 from PPAI through a series of new initiatives and events. The revamped program will allow regional associations to customize their experience and interactions with PPAI via a new a la carte menu that accommodates each regional association's unique needs and concerns.
The program was restructured to address the four major pain points and better align the program and the available monies to the current needs of the regional community. "As the regional community has evolved and offers a wider range of events, is investing in planning sessions and strategic initiatives and tackles the needs of regional association management, we felt it was critical to provide support in a variety of ways not available previously; the new program is designed to do just that," said Director Member Engagement and Regional Relations Carol Gauger, MAS. The program also continues to reward regional associations for sharing governance documents and other vital statistical information.
New components of the program include:
- Best practices, tool kits and monetary assistance to conduct a membership campaign
- New professional development content presented by PPAI staff at regional event of your choice
- Regional membership in the American Society of Association Executives--the association for associations
- Customized Board strategy sessions facilitated by PPAI staff
- Monetary incentive for participation in the 3rd Annual RAC Benchmarking study to be launched in May

SAAGNY's SEISMIC Program
SAAGNY launched its new, multi-faceted member benefit program, the SAAGNY Employment and Intern Service, in two phases:
Phase One--The Industry Employment and Business Opportunities job board was placed on the SAAGNY website in October 2014 and consists of five components:
- Help Wanted--for companies looking to hire new employees
- Opportunities Wanted--for those not currently employed within the industry
- Internships--for companies seeking interns, or for those looking for internship opportunities
- Multi-line Reps Looking for Lines
- Equipment/Furniture for Sale
Phase Two--The Intern Recruitment initiative began this Spring. SAAGNY staff and volunteers attend local college job and intern fairs to collect resumes to fill employment/internship needs. Employers register with SAAGNY and say what they are looking for. SAAGNY then forwards appropriate resumes to registered employers for review. This service is offered exclusively to SAAGNY members as a free member benefit.
