IRS Provides New Simplified Office Deduction Method for Small Businesses with Giovanni Coratolo, US Chamber of Commerce, and Kristie Arslan, National Association for the Self Employed

A new method of simplifying the home office deduction has been announced by the IRS which could provide an easy alternative for taxpayers to deduct up to $1,500 per year for their home office expense. So, whether you are self-employed or an employee, if you use a portion of your home for business, you may be able to take a home office deduction. This is good news for the millions of entrepreneurs who run their businesses from their home office.
