Thursday, January 17, 2013 Enhancing Federal Women-Owned Small Business Programs A recent amendment to the FY13 National Defense Authorization Act effectively removes previously established spending caps on federal contract awards to Women-owned businesses under the Small Business Administration's Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting program. This development will create a better opportunity for women entrepreneurs to get their fair share of government contracts - a potential $20 billion worth.
