The mission of the network is to help new entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership, and assist existing businesses to remain competitive in the complex marketplace of an ever-changing global economy. On this Thursday's broadcast of Biz Talk With Josh Smith, Josh's guests will be ASBDC Board member and chairman of its Legislative Affairs Committee, Mr. James L. King, and ASBDC's President and CEO, Mr. C.W. "Tee" Rowe. Mr. King has been the state director of New York State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Central Administration since 1984 and served as president of the ASBDC and the National Association of Management & Technical Assistance Centers. He authored and developed the New York State SBDC under sponsorship of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and New York State.
As President and CEO of ASBDC, Mr. Rowe presides over an organization with a nationwide network of over 1,000 small business development centers. Prior to joining ASBDC, he was Associate Administrator for Congressional and Legislative Affairs at SBA. |
