We are all aware that FedEx is one of the world's greatest companies according to multiple sources who measure customer service, on-time delivery of packages, and employee satisfaction. But did you know that FedEx also helps small businesses by offering online tools and resources to help small businesses work efficiently, so they can stay focused on other areas of growing their businesses globally? A couple of major components of building successful companies of any size are branding, customer loyalty, and marketing, and Josh Smith's guest this week is one of the principal architects of the strategies and practices that make and keep FedEx on top of its game - Ms. Laurie A. Tucker, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing FedEx Services.
Ms. Tucker serves as a primary champion of the FedEx brand and customer loyalty, guiding the company's marketing strategy to position FedEx as one of the world's most respected and valued brands. An employee of FedEx since 1978, she has held leadership positions in custromer service, finance, IT and marketing.
Josh and Ms. Tucker will be joined by representatives from two small businesses who are currently utilizing FedEx Services, Mr. Austin Williams, VP Global Sales, Games People Play, Inc. headquartered in Beaumont, TX, and Ms. Julie Duhon, General Manager, 800 Degrees Pizza out of its Los Angeles operations.
