A Tale From the Tour Against Trafficking

Tales from the Tour
Wil Colón

Have you ever been on vacation; begin to lose track of days, then time? Did you suddenly realize that the vacation was almost over and could not believe how time flew? How about enjoying yourself to the point that places, people, and events began to blur into one jumbled memory where it took more than one person to pin point the place and time? Let's try a couple more questions. After all was said and done, did recalling the time and place of your memories matter at all? Feast of St. Nicholas

A message about the Feast of St. Nicholas, from The Rev. Heather Mueller

Dear Friends in the Diocese and beyond,

I am writing this to you as a missioner on the team for The American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem.

As many of you already know, Anne Lynn came to our Diocesan Convention this last weekend. She presented an insightful power point on the ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem.

As you may remember, the Diocese of Jerusalem oversees many hospitals, clinics, schools and churches in the Palestinian areas of the West Bank and 5 other countries. The American Friends, with a board, many missioners and Anne Lynn as the president raises funds for the important ministry of these 50 institutions which serve not only Christians but many others in the communities in which they exist. Story of the Bag,

Stan Williams,
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Madera

I often find it difficult to pass out the bags to the homeless.   My dilemma is that I have so few bags and so many people eligible.   I often see a person and try to decide if they are truly homeless or are they just taking aluminum cans to recycling. I want to be sure the bag goes to a really needy individual.

Just this week I came across a man I shall call Brian. Read more...

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
