NATURE'S VISION FUNDRAISER FOR FIELD STUDIES

Last Friday information was sent home about how students can raise money for their spring field studies or for the general field study scholarship fund. Our current field study scholarship fund is exhausted, so please consider putting the proceeds from your sales towards the general field study scholarship fund.  This fund will be used to assist families that are unable to pay for academic spring field studies.  Field study forms for all grade levels will be coming home soon with exact pricing and we anticipate a high need for financial assistance.  If you have questions or need additional catalogues or order forms, please contact Ms. Heimerl at Bheimerl@amanaacademy.org

Your out-of-town Friends & Family can support your fundraiser by placing an online order. Go to naturesvisionfundraising.com, click on the Shop Now icon and enter your Organization Code 51301 and the Student Name you want to credit.

Send emails to friends and family to promote your fundraiser.

Share on Facebook and other social media to increase your sales and seller prize awards.

NJHS STUDENTS TRAVEL TO D.C. FOR LEAD CONFERENCE

Last week, thirteen Amana National Junior Honor Society students and their teachers & parent chaperons traveled to our nation's capital to spend the weekend with hundreds of student leaders at the National LEAD Conference.

EL Education promotes the kind of adventures that create opportunities for leadership and collaboration as groups of students and teachers face challenges together. The students were able to energize their leadership skills listening to inspirational speakers, and through seminars and workshops. The lucky bunch also got to tour national monuments, museums, and historical venues.
10TH ANNIVERSARY BANQUET

Amana  is celebrating our 10th Anniversary, and we are very excited to invite you to be a part of that celebration.  On April 23, 2016, we will host a banquet at the Country Club of Roswell, honoring members of our community and celebrating the work we do to serve our students every day.

THANK YOU FOR RE-COMMITTING
Thank you to all of our families who have re-committed to Amana for the 2016-2017 school year.  We appreciate you entrusting us with the education of your children, and look forward to seeing them grow with us for another year.

Thank you also to the students, parents, staff and alumni who helped host a very successful Open House on January 24 for prospective students and their families.  We currently have close to 200 students interested in enrolling in Amana for the coming school year.  We will hold an admissions lottery to fill any open seats on Wednesday, February 10 at 10:30.

ORDER YEARBOOKS, PLACE TRIBUTE ADS

It's that time of year again - time to order your yearbooks and honor your students with a tribute ad.  Our yearbook club has been working diligently all year to design the book, complete with custom cover art.

Yearbooks are priced at $35, and you can have your student's name digitally imprinted onto the front of the book for an additional $5.
