THANK YOU FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE ANNUAL FUND!
|
A giant thank you to everyone who contributed to the Annual Fund! Our goal was to raise $50,000, and we made it! With our year-end donations, our total came to just over $53,000.
The class with the highest percentage participation was Ms. Guarino's homeroom - 100% of the families in that class contributed something to the Annual Fund. Thank you to the parents in that class for your support of our school!
Ms. Atkinson's 1st grade class came in 2nd place for participation with 91% of the families in that class contributing. Both Ms. Guarino's class and Ms. Atkinson's class received extra recess for reaching this goal.
Mr. Nguyen's 5th grade homeroom collected the highest dollar amount, so they will get a special luncheon with Mr. Jaleel and Ms. Campbell.
A special thank you to First Grade for incorporating the Annual Fund into their expedition. The Change-Bot that the students invented yielded $90.93. Every bit helps us provide more and better opportunities for our students.
Thank you again to everyone who donated! |
RE-ENROLLMENT DUE BEFORE JANUARY 31
|
Dear Parents, we are honored to teach your children and we want to make sure they return to Amana Academy next year! Since we are fast approaching our recommitment deadline of January 31, we want to make sure you are clear about the process. The most important thing for you to understand is that YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY THE FEE DEPOSIT WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE RE-COMMITMENT FORM. However, you must complete the recommitment form by 1/31/16 or your child's seat may be given away to a new student at the Feb 10 lottery. To reserve your child's seat for the next school year, here is what you need to do:
Note: you are not required to make any payment when completing this form.
If this form is completed AFTER January 31, 2016, then we cannot guarantee a seat for your child. If the grade you are reserving does not require a lottery, then your child will be seamlessly readmitted. However, if the grade does require a lottery, then the your child will be placed on the waiting list in the order of their application.
2. After you complete the re-commitment form, you will receive a confirmation email with a web link that allows you to make your fee deposit payment - you will have the choice any time to pay all at once or spread the payments over several months by the end of this school year. The $100 nonrefundable fee deposit is required for each new or returning student enrolling at Amana Academy for the upcoming school year. The deposit allows us to better predict enrollment numbers, and it will be allocated toward fall semester bundled fees for a portion of Expeditionary Learning field studies costs, student classroom supplies, and field study uniforms.
If you have any questions about this process, please contact Ms. Sheryl Hale, our Student Information Coordinator, at shale@amanaacademy.org.
