IAMANA ANNUAL FUND
The Annual Campaign will run through the end of November.  We ask all of our families to make a gift that is meaningful to them, knowing that it can make a huge impact for all of our students.  This year, the Annual Fund will directly benefit the STEM Certification process as well as help offset some of our general operating costs.

Our goal this year is $50,000, and we know that if every family contributes, we can get there.  When your family makes a donation, your students' names will be entered in a drawing for an iPad, to be held at the end of the campaign.  Every student whose family donates will also receive a wrist-band commemorating our 10-year anniversary.

Please take a moment to consider how much you might be able to contribute.  You can make a one-time gift, or become a member of our 10 for 10 Crew, which allows donors who give $250 or more to pay in 10 installments (all pledges should be paid in full by the end of our fiscal year, which is June 30, 2016).  If you'd like to donate by check or cash, please return the donor card linked here to the front desk along with your donation.  If you've already made all of your charitable contributions for 2015, you can pledge now and make your payment in 2016.  If you'd rather donate via credit card, you can do so at our secure online giving site by clicking the button below, or in the sidebar of this newsletter.

GOVERNANCE BOARD MEETING
The Amana Academy Governance Board will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 8:00 AM in the Parent Center (suite 109A).

The first portion of the meeting will be a public session to approve the budget for FY 16. After the public portion of the meeting, the Board will convene an Executive "private" session to discuss a real estate matter.

All meetings of the Amana Board are posted to our website calendar and open to the public unless designated as "executive session" where, by law, the Board must convene in private to discuss land, legal or personnel items. Any vote resulting from executive session discussion, however, will occur in an open public setting.
