This year, we are celebrating 10 successful years of educating students at Amana Academy! It's hard to believe that an idea conceived by parents and talked about over kitchen tables is now a vibrant, thriving school community. We are so glad that you are a part of the continuing legacy of Amana Academy, and we hope you'll help us continue to grow and thrive for the next 10 years and beyond.
Please take a moment to consider how much you might be able to contribute. You can make a one-time gift, or become a member of our 10 for 10 Crew, which allows donors who give $250 or more to pay in 10 installments (all pledges should be paid in full by the end of our fiscal year, which is June 30, 2016). If you'd like to donate by check or cash, please return the donor card linked here to the front desk along with your donation. If you've already made all of your charitable contributions for 2015, you can pledge now and make your payment in 2016. If you'd rather donate via credit card, you can do so at our secure online giving site by clicking the button below, or in the sidebar of this newsletter.

All IXL roads are leading to success at Amana Academy! We love how students are embodying one of our EL design principles: Collaboration and Competition. As of Friday, September 25th, 2015, we have 32 Amana students who drove through 500 LN working through 500 problems and two students who already passed 1000 Street! Our two leaders of the IXL challenge are Ahmad Echols with 1,532 problems worked out andMakayla McCain with 1,316 problems worked out.
Check out the IXL board and look for your child's name if they reached the 500+ milestone. Please submit certificates ONLY when he/she reaches 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, and 5000 problems worked out. Students who get their names on the IXL board and will be candidates for a drawing to win an iPad!
