AMANA CELEBRATES GEORGIA STEM DAY!
MAY 8

Georgia STEM Day is may 8th, and the Amana community has planned a day full of real-world STEM activities for students.

Part I: Middle School STEM Field Day

To celebrate Georgia STEM Day Amana Middle School students will participate in a geocaching activity in Wills Park.  They will be given coordinates and will race through Wills Park with their Crew Adviser to locate caches.  Answering math and science questions at each of the stations will earn them important supplies they will use to complete an engineering challenge later in the day!

Part II: Elementary School STEM Day Activities

Students in 4th and 5th Grade will help the lower grades learn about integration of STEM through board games and other fun activities that will demonstrate practical applications of the scientific method and the engineering design process.

Part III: Amana Family STEM Night

What is Expeditionary STEM? How would you like to spend the evening exploring the exciting world of Expeditionary STEM through addressing real-world problems by means of engineering? Don't miss out on this family night out of cool prizes, crafting STEM products and learning from expert visitors and much more!

ALL GRADE LEVELS (K-8) AND  FAMILIES ARE WELCOME!
5:00 - 7:00 PM
