GEORGIA MILESTONES TESTING
APRIL 16 - MAY 1 |
 Springtime is here and so is the Georgia Milestones testing. Our teachers and students in grades 3 through 8 have been working diligently to prepare for the new assessment. The Milestones assessment is designed to measure student acquisition of the knowledge, concepts, and skills set forth in Georgia's Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for their respective grade level. We are administering the Georgia Milestones Test April 16 - May 1, 2015. We urge the students to be present during the testing days to include the subject areas of English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science.
We strongly urge and recommend that:
- students arrive on time (7:50 AM is daily start time);
- you encourage your child each day to do their very best;
- you make sure your child receives a good night's rest; and
- your child eats a nutritious breakfast each morning.
Please note: Cell phones will not be allowed in the testing environment and will therefore be collected by the testing examiner. The cell phones will be returned following the administration of each test.
