Supporting Amana
We have raised $48,000 to date toward our $75,000 goal - that's more than 60%.  Thank you to everyone who participated!

While the parent campaign has officially come to a close, we are still accepting donations to the Annual Fund.  If you didn't have a chance to donate during 2014, or if you want to encourage your friends or family to give, you can do so via the link below.

We're entering inclement weather season, and we want to make sure that we keep you informed about possible delays or closings.  There are a few ways that we communicate information about weather delays and/or closings.
Facebook logo Amana Gate_small
If you haven't already done so, please take a minute to sign up for text alerts through our Remind.com service.  Just text @amana to 81010 to register.  We use this service for weather-related messages, as well as to communicate about important events or other school-related information.

We also ask that you "like" Amana's Facebook page.  This is one of the first places we'll post information about weather-related delays or closings, and also a great way to stay informed about everything going on at the school.

You should also bookmark the Amana Academy website, as we're always updating our calendar and news stories there.  You will see weather-related information in the spotlight section at the top of the right-hand sidebar.

As a rule of thumb, we generally follow Fulton County Schools when it comes to inclement weather delays or closings, but we ask that you make every effort to stay connected with Amana to make sure that you have the most accurate information related to our school.

Mark your calendar's for PIE's general body meeting on February 10 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM.  We hope you can join us for a short performance from some of our Elementary grades students, a presentation from Ms. McClure and Ms. Campbell about the new Georgia Milestones assessment, and the PIE general body meeting, followed by a potluck dinner.  More detailed information will come in the next few weeks, but please mark your calendars so that you can join us for this important meeting.
OPEN HOUSE FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS - JANUARY 25
If you have friends or neighbors who might be interested in having their children attend Amana for the 2015-2016 school year, please invite them to attend an Open House on Sunday, January 25 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  We are currently in our open enrollment period for new students, and this is a great opportunity for prospective families to learn more about Amana.
