| MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER READING |
 Look for Middle School Required Summer Reading Forms to come home this week. You may purchase your students required Middle School Summer Reading Books through Amana this year for a 20% discounted rate. Forms and payment must be submitted by Thursday, May 8.

| DONATE YOUR USED UNIFORMS! |

 If your child is outgrowing their school uniforms faster than you can buy them, please donate them to PIE. When you donate your child's gently used uniforms, we can make them available to fellow Amana parents and students at our Used Uniform Sales. Your donations may be placed in the Used Uniform bin in the lobby. Take advantage of spring cleaning to help out another Amana family!

| LAST FAMILY FUN AT SKY ZONE - MAY 1 |

This is your last chance to jump with Amana this school year! Come join us Thursday, May 1, 3 PM - 8 PM. Remember, this is a Family Fun Night that is also a Family Fun'd Night! For every hour that you pay ($8 + tax) for your child (or you!) to jump, $3 goes to Amana! And it gets better! You can get dinner there too! When you get a meal deal, a pizza and drinks, for $10 + tax, $2 goes back to Amana!!

The last check in is at 7 PM so that you can have a whole hour of jumping fun! Also note, we will NOT be collecting cereal boxes during this Fun Night as the Sky Zone party was auctioned off at the Squawk & Walk fundraiser.

| TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK - MAY 5-9 |

 This year's Teacher Appreciation Week is sure to make our teachers feel appreciated!
The special treats for our teachers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday are being sponsored by PIE. But on TUESDAY and THURSDAY, it is your family's chance to provide the special treat!
Here's the schedule:
- Malibu Monday - Smoothies for teachers (provided by PIE)
- TLC Tuesday - Students bring something sweet for their teachers
- Wellness Wednesday - Massage sessions for teachers (provided by PIE)
- TLC Thursday - Students bring a gift card, small gift, or card to their teachers
- Feng Shui Friday - Teacher appreciation luncheon (provided by PIE)

| LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER "BUDDIES" TO GUIDE NEW PARENTS |

Are you helpful by nature? Do you enjoy talking to new people and making them feel welcome? If so, you can be an Amana Buddy! Amana Buddies will help families new to Amana transition into our school during the first weeks of the next school year.
As an Amana Buddy, you would:
- Be partnered with a few new families in the grade(s) of your choice.
- Welcome your new families with a phone call or email.
- Meet your new families at the Welcome Back Picnic in August.
- Be available to answer questions throughout the school year.
