| ANNUAL FUND - 3rd GRADE LEADS THE WAY! |
3rd Grade is in the lead with 10% parent participation, but 1st isn't far behind with 7%! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already made their commitment to this important fund. Overall, though, we're only at 3% parent participation. Remember - we're shooting for 100%, so that means we need the other 97% to show their support.
Don't forget, we are running a grade-level competition between now and the end of December. The grade level with the highest participation percentage will win an out-of-uniform day. Every gift matters, no matter how large or how small - we just ask that you give at a level that is comfortable for you. Individual gift amounts will not be published.
 If you want to donate, you can do so online through our secure fundraising page, or you can send your donation in to the school in the form of cash or a check made payable to Amana Academy. Make your gift go further by participating in your company's matching gift program. Not sure if your company matches charitable donations? Visit our Double the Donation page to see if they offer an employee matching gift program.

Dear Amana families/crew:
We here at Amana value each child and their health care needs. Please keep in mind that to better provide for your child it is very important that we have a detailed medical history on file here at the school. This will help to better assess your child if they visit the clinic or provide accurate health information to the medical team in the event of an emergency.
Please be assured that this information will be confidential and provided to others only on a "need to know" basis. All parents have the right to share or withhold any information that they feel is necessary. However, please remember that any pertinent medical information that is withheld can put your child at a disadvantage as it relates to their health and education.
Please complete an updated medical form and provide any information regarding your child (ren)'s medications and health conditions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

| HELP OUR SCHOOL CLINIC - SIGN UP FOR HANDS ON AMANA |
Our school clinic is ready to expand into the space behind the cafeteria, and we need your help to convert the space we were using for a teachers' lounge into the new clinic. We need help with moving furniture, prepping for painting, painting, and of course everyone's favorite activity of clean-up. This HOA event will take place on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8. Please fill click here to complete our online sign-up form.

We are in the HOME STRETCH of the yearbook presale period with only 7 WEEKS left to save money on your memory book order.
Right now Fifth Grade is ahead in the race to the Grade Level Signing Party! Tied for second place are Third and Eighth Grades.

New this year are club and activity photos in our extracurricular activities section! Is your child in an after-school club, team or activity? Ask your club sponsor when their organization's photos will be taken and be sure that your child comes ready for pictures.

| IT'S BOX TOP CONTEST TIME! |
It's time to start your Box Top engines! The Box Top Collection Contest has begun, and will run through November 21. So, take your students to the grocery store and hunt down some Box Top products. Also, please be on the lookout for brand new Box Top Collection Boxes in all of your students' classrooms and further details about what the winning classrooms will win as prizes. In the meantime, collect and clip those Box Tops and help our school earn cash for every Box Top you send in! THE EXCITEMENT STARTS NOW!!!
