MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE STATE OF THE SCHOOL ADDRESS |
State of the School Address and New Middle School Wing Tour
Dear Amana Community,
Please join Mr. Jaleel for a special evening on October 16th at 6:30 PM for his State of the School Address in addition to a tour of our new middle school wing. As an Expeditionary Learning school, we place a lot of emphasis on reflection - time alone to explore our own thoughts, to make our own connections, and create our own ideas. We will reflect on our past year's accomplishments, explore our current challenges and opportunities, and set the stage for our future priorities - don't miss it!
As a special treat, we will also be joined by Good Van Slyke Architecture and Evergreen Construction for a tour of our new middle school wing. Please invite your family, friends and acquaintances to attend. If you have children who graduated from Amana, please ask them to attend as well.
Child care and refreshments will be available ( click here if you will need child care). Doors will open at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

PIE GENERAL BODY MEETING - 10/8 @ 2:00PM |
Our next PIE general body meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the Amana cafeteria. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

PICTURE DAYS - 10/21, 10/23 & 10/24 |
Say "cheese!"
Fall pictures are scheduled for October 21st, 23rd and 24th, so be sure to mark your calendars. We are in the process of scheduling individual grade levels and will have more information soon on which grades will have their pictures taken on which days. Remember, Fall pictures are yearbook pictures, so all students should be in uniform on these days.

PAY YOUR PIE DUES ONLINE! |
Haven't paid your PIE Dues yet?
We are now accepting online payments at
Alternately, please be on the lookout for a note to be sent home this week, and return your dues in the attached envelope. Remember, dues are $20 per child and are vital for funding enrichment and community-building activities at Amana. These include International Festival, Family Fun events, Teacher Appreciation, Field Day and more!

THANK YOU TO SHERWIN-WILLIAMS |
We want to say a huge "Thank You!" to the Sherwin-Williams store on State Bridge Road, and to store manager Pablo, for the generous donation of paint, tape, rollers, brushes, paint trays and drop cloths for the new PIE Parent Center.
