CO-OP PRESENTING TWO THINK IT OUT

EVENTS IN NEW YORK IN DECEMBER

Free Registration for Buffalo and Albany Events at http://co-opthink.org/event-types/regional

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (November 2, 2015) - CO-OP Financial Services is bringing its THINK It Out events to New York in early December, with free presentations designed to help credit unions in the Empire State and beyond "Seize the Now!"

"Significant social and technological advances have converged to create a moment in time that is uniquely advantageous for credit unions," said Stan Hollen President/CEO, CO-OP. "Purchasing decisions by the modern consumer are increasingly influenced by a company's commitment to both social values and technology tools that center on the interests, behavior and wellbeing of humans. Our one-day THINK It Out meetings will help credit unions better understand the trends at work in the market, and how they can maximize their competitive edge today."

The THINK It Out events will take place on Tuesday, December 1, in Buffalo, N.Y., and Thursday, December 3 in Albany, N.Y. CO-OP subject matter experts will cover four key consumer trends:
Fast, Brilliant and Connected: Modern consumers are looking for products and services that are more conveniently accessible via channels that are both connected and related.
Security: Personal payment security is a decision driver for virtually everyone.
Personalization: Relevant, meaningful incentives geared to individuals are also shaping consumer decisions.
Social Values: Consumers are looking for companies that are doing good in society, in addition to pursuing revenue. Doing good and pursuing revenue, indeed, are now connected.

The New York events signal the evolution of CO-OP as a company and THINK as a CO-OP brand offering to credit unions.

In February 2015, CO-OP announced that it had acquired Covera Solutions, Inc., from the New York Credit Union Association. Covera, based in Albany, N.Y., provides about 250 credit unions and their members with credit, debit, ATM and prepaid cards solutions.

THINK is best known to the credit union industry for the annual conference that CO-OP hosts, and which will be held at the Hotel Del Coronado, May 3-6, 2016, in the San Diego, Calif. area. Registration for the conference is available immediately by visiting http://co-opthink.org/events/think-16.

The THINK brand also now includes regional events throughout the year, such as the upcoming ones taking place in New York, and a website that focuses on credit union management best practices and innovations. Featuring contributions from thought leaders both within and outside the industry, the website provides a blog, library and store, in addition to event information. THINK can be found at http://co-opthink.org.

The two regional events are free to credit union employees, who can learn more and register immediately athttp://co-opthink.org/event-types/regional.
