Coach of the Year Nominations
January 1 through February 18
Please consider nominating your coach for the Pacific Masters Coach of the Year Award. Submissions should include a nomination letter along with a maximum of four support letters. A description of the award along with the nomination and selection process can be found on pages 10 and 11 of the Pacific Masters Administrative Handbook Nominations are due on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 6 PM and should be sent to [email protected].

Jon Steiner Memorial Mile Postal Event
January 1 through February 28
Tamalpais Masters hosts this event which benefits lung cancer research. Swim 1650 yards or 1500 meters in any pool and submit your results. There is also a team category.

Annual TOC 1500 Meters
Saturday, January 24
The Olympic Club, 665 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102, will be hosting the Annual TOC 1500 Meter meet on January 24, 2015, for all you distance enthusiasts! Competition will be in the very fast, deep, eight lane 25 meter pool. The meet will be pre-seeded fastest to slowest, and no deck entries will be allowed. Registration will end at midnight on January 22, 2015. This is a great way to kick off the new year, with a good solid 1500 race.

SCY Quadrathon
Sunday, January 25
Fog City Masters presents a swimming quadrathon. There are only four events: The 500, 200, 100, and 50 freestyle. (USMS rules allow swimmers to swim other strokes besides the crawl.) There will be breaks in the competition to ensure that swimmers have rest between events. The event will be held at Herbst Natatorium at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School, 2001 37th Avenue, San Francisco.

Valentine's Affair
Saturday, February 7
USF Masters presents the annual Valentine's Affair. This year the meet will have 50s and 100s of all strokes (and a 100 IM), as well as a mixed 200 yard medley relay. The meet will be held at the University of San Francisco, Koret Recreation Center, 2130 Fulton St., San Francisco, CA 94117.
