Great Start (to Summer)

There is no nicer way to spend a beautiful summer weekend than basking in the sun beside a shimmering pool. That was the experience of everyone who attended the 2014 Pacific Masters Long Course Championship meet. The pool complex at the College of San Mateo is an ideal facility and the weather could not have been more cooperative.

As usual, the San Mateo Masters along with a dedicated group of officials and other volunteers, ran the meet flawlessly. Over 500 swimmers participated. If you were at the meet check out these Flickr files and see if you can find yourself. If you didn't make it to the meet, take a tour of the photos to see how much fun you missed. A special thanks goes to meet director Jim Stretch and to Tom Reudy and everyone at San Mateo Masters who made the event such a success.
