Pacific Master's popular open water clinics are back in 2014. This is a fun, safe way to learn about open water swimming or improve your skills. There is a limit of 50 swimmers per clinic so register early.

Donner Lake

Saturday, August 16  (note: this sells out!)

At 2.7 miles, this is one of the longest swims of the season. The start is at the east end of the lake and the finish is at the west end. If you drive along the shore of the lake you will marvel at how far you will swim. The swim is limited to 350 swimmers. Enter early. BBQ chicken lunch included in your entry fee and there are post event snacks to stave off hunger before lunch. Free shuttle buses run between the start and the finish. Swimmers are given a plastic bag at the start to hold their sweats. It will be transported to the finish for you.[registration]

Open Water Season off to a great start!

Three events with eight different swim opportunities have started our Open Water Season for 2014.  Spring Lake hosted a 500m & 1 mile, Del Valle a 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km & 1 km and Lake Berryessa offered swimmers a 1 & 2 mile swim.  Many thanks to Race Directors, David Robinson and his crew from Redwood Coast Masters; Bill McCracken and his volunteers from Tri Valley Masters; and  Davis Aquatic Masters with Head Coach Stu Kahn, for all of their hard work putting these events together.
