2011

2001- 2010

Greetings!

I am hoping you all will be able to attend this year's Pacific Masters Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 11 at the Shadelands Arts Center in Walnut Creek.

An exciting program is planned including a swim workout at Heather Farm Clarke Swim Center (open only to meeting attendees), There is an opportunity to swim with swimming legend Janet Evans, who will later be speaking on "Staying Fit and Motivated as We Age: A Swimmers Perspective." There is also a catered lunch and the Pacific Masters annual business meeting. We will also honor the 2012 Personal Award Recipients.

As someone who is passionate about Masters swimming, you may be interested in "Strategies and Tactics for Enhancing Your Club" a workshop led by Bill Brenner, the USMS Club & Coach Services Director. The workshop is a great opportunity to gather new ideas and collaborate with other PacMasters members in developing new membership programs. US Masters Swimming executive director Rob Butcher will also be here.

Every meeting attendee will receive a thumb drive pre-loaded with the FINA Shoulder Injury Prevention Video, the 2013 schedule and an updated list of places to swim.

Pacific Masters needs to reflect the interests of its clubs to continue to thrive and your input is essential in that process. Please take the time to sign up for the meeting today and encourage your teammates and team leaders to attend as well.

You can sign up for the meeting by using the link below.

I look forward to meeting with you at the annual meeting.

Keep on swimming!
