2011

2001- 2010

Greetings!

October-November is always my favorite time of the year. Maybe because I am a native San Franciscan - the weather is always great and the shortening of daylight means that the holiday season is just around the corner.

The Pacific Masters Short Course Meters Championships is my favorite meet of the year. The weather is usually good. The meet is large enough to have good competition in your age group, and the days are not too long. The meet is small enough so that you can chat with your swimming buddies from other clubs between events and Walnut Creek has run a great championship for many years.

Rich Burns of Tamalpias Masters suggest this link to a video about evolution of the butterfly stroke (8 minutes long with a 20 second commercial).
