2011

2001- 2010

Greetings!

Open Water events are always a lot of fun. There are two different divisions for our open water swims, and the division depends on the suit that you are wearing. If you are wearing a FINA approved suit, you are in category one. If you are in a wet suit, tech suit or have tape on your body you are in category two. Glenda Carroll prepared a list of  the two divisions.

The  major events for next year - the spring nationals, the summer nationals and this year the US is hosting the Pan American Masters Championships in Sarasota, FL. The events on now our the Pac Masters schedule for those making their next years plans.

The FINA World Masters Championships are going on it Riccione, Italy. You might want to look at the results list to see how your friends are doing.

Have fun

Fun, fitness and competition

Coaches need at Summer Nationals

The USMS Coaches Committee is looking for some help with On Deck Coaching at Summer Nationals.  If you are a coach planning on going to swim or coach your team or both we need your help!  On Deck Coaches assist with warm ups by giving starts to swimmers in sprint lanes, providing splits when requested and general help on the pool deck during warm ups.  It is a minimal time commitment and in return we can offer you a Coach Hospitality Pass for the day.
FINA World Championships

The FINA World Championships are being contested this week in Riccione, Italy. There are a bunch of Pacific Masters Swimmers who will be competing there.  Some of our swimming mates have done very well at the meet. But is the comraderie that is important.
