You may have seen in The Update about US Masters Swimming offering Scholarships for College Swimmers in 2012. This is  a great chance for a student attending college to be the recipient of a $1,000 grant from the USMS Swimming Saves Lives Foundation.

The requirements are fairly easy.

 

1 You must going to college.

2. You must be on a college club team.

3. You must apply.

4. You have a GPA of 3.0

5. You must desire to continue to swim after college.

4. If chosen the grants will be awarded 15 September at the US Masters Swimming National Convention. (USMS will pay for your trip and lodging).

If you are going to college and swimming for a college team, I hope that you consider applying for the grant. The form is on-line and does not take long to fill out.
