Regina's enthusiam, expertise and love of swimming is legendary in the Chico area.  The Chico Aqua Jets are sponsoring Team Regina Swims Against Cancer, Swim Across America Pool Swim. For information can be found at http://www.swimacrossamerica.org/chico

Regina has had  cancer and suffered a big set back a while ago. Three weeks ago she began water walking and has begun swimming and kicking up to 1000 yards a day.

Dave van Mouwerik
Swims Tahoe

Dave Van Mourwerik swam Lake Tahoe north to south.  He used the distance that  Ken Harmon used the previous year, it is the longest straight line route in the lake - 21.68 miles. The temperature was a mile 66 degrees for the entire swim.

Congratulation to Dave on a great swim.
