As you might know, Pac Masters had submitted a bid for SwimFest '11. USMS did not select us, and we really didn't expect them to since they just hosted it on the west coast this past June. We would like to move forward with building and conducting a Pac Masters coaches clinic in the summer of 2011. The survey of our coaches shows the need and interest. I really believe a cadre of coaches should be the driving force behind such a clinic.

While we do have a site in mind - Scott Williams' new facility in San Mateo, and a tentative date of June 11th-12th, nothing is set in stone and nothing has been organized.  It will be a challenge to meet the timeline, getting started on this just 7 months out, but I'm optimistic with the right team that we can pull it together.

It is absolutely not our intention to try and compete with SwimFest and we also do not want to negatively impact Kerry's WCM Intensive Training Camp.  I have lots of enthusiasm, energy and a workhorse approach to tackling this project. But I need help!  I'm reaching out to find a committee of 5-6 to plan and implement this clinic. With your incredible coaching talent it would be phenomenal to have you on the team. Would you be interested?

I do know we need to launch a committee right away. I anticipate that much of this will be done by email and conference calls. Can you help?  Please let me know as soon as possible so that I can assemble the committee and get this project underway.
