Greetings from Pacific Masters! We are experimenting with a new method of communicating with our masters coaches within Pacific Masters. We hope you like it. Since we are continually working to update our database, please feel free to forward this email to other Pacific masters coaches you may know. If you are a recipient of this forwarded email, please contact me and I will be happy to add you to our database. Just let me know what masters team you coach and whether you are an assistant coach or head coach.
This month, we'd like to share with you news about an upcoming annual coaches clinic. Held every January in Napa, this year's clinic offers ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association) training as well as speakers from around the nation who present an assortment of breakout and general sessions. At this upcoming clinic, CPR, First Aid, and Coaches Safety Training are offered as well as ASCA's Level III Physiology School.
Pacific Masters is committed to supporting and training our masters coaches. For the 2010 Coaches Clinic, Pac Masters offered sponsorship to coaches from registered masters teams in Pacific Masters zone to cover the basic registration cost ($99 to $114). We will offer that same sponsorship for this 2011 clinic. Coaches will pay the registration up front, submit a reimbursement form (to include proof of registration payment and proof of attendance) and will then be reimbursed for the basic registration.
