CREAM OF THE CROP

Hello !

null  How well do you treat yourself when it comes to stuff, friends, jobs, indulgences?

If you had 3 choices of everything, where on the scale do you typically choose? Low, medium or high?  I find myself choosing medium even though I know I want to have the cream of the crop. So why don't I choose better? Is it worthiness, programming, lack? I know people who have very little money who are still committed to having the cream of the crop and they find a way to attain it. So using that as an excuse won't hold up.

Do you think choosing low will somehow shift you into high one day? If you have ever flown first class or sat in the first row of a spectacular event, you have a frame of reference for choosing high.

Many years ago I lived in a brand new 3 bedroom duplex in South Florida. When my father came to visit,  he gently and lovingly suggested I consider moving to a better neighborhood, even if it was a 1 bedroom. He wanted me to experience the pride of ownership opposed to settling. That perspective changed my life.

Where in your life can you have a better perspective and choose better for yourself
? Maybe cutting corners isn't working. Maybe waiting for the right time to choose higher is not necessary.

Start with something small. If you find even a little thing that has you feel special when you do it or buy it, then go ahead. If you have been avoiding your favorite brand of something or cutting down on something you really love, consider indulging once in a while. You deserve the cream of the crop.. So why not move towards it instead of away from it?

Here's to choosing high !

Enthusiastically,

Fran
