ARE YOU BEING UNREASONABLE?

Hello !

Are you being unreasonable ? When we think of being unreasonable - we often think it's a bad thing. For instance if someone makes demands of you that you can't or don't want to do, you may call them unreasonable.

You know what ? There is a good side to being unreasonable. Many of us play too small in our lives. We may dream big, but we continue to play small. Mostly because we are afraid to fail so we don't try at all.

There was a time in my life about 10 years ago when I wanted more for myself than I was producing. I hired a coach and presented her with a series of VERY unreasonable requests and I asked her to support me in manifesting them. How unreasonable you might ask? Well, I was a Realtor who decided I didn't want to work nights or weekends, I didn't want to work with buyers and I wanted to double my income doing so.  Unheard of right? Well, She supported my vision and together we created all of those and much more. None of which would have happened if I had played small. This was not the first or the last time I was unreasonable in creating my vision.

Does it always work? No. But it works a lot and I personally like the odds when I put myself out there opposed to being an armchair participant at life. What's the harm in being unreasonable? What's the harm in failing once in a while if success is just around the corner? What's the cost of not playing at all?

Where in your life would you like to be unreasonable ? What are you waiting for?

Unreasonably Yours,

Fran
