Hello !

Are you the type of person who works all the time ? Even if you're not at work, you are thinking work related thoughts? I know I am. If I have the choice to work or go out with friends, I typically choose to work. I love what I do and I love to keep creating. What some of us might need to realize is that playing is a much needed part of our sanity, development and rejuvenation. If you haven't played in a while, you may be ripe and ready for a play date!  

What the heck is a play date? Well, you get to decide that . Is it at home with family? Is it out by yourself for a day? Is it a night out with friends? A play date is something determined by you to be fulfilling, fun and free-spirited. Can you appreciate having a time like that?  

I like to take play dates when my nieces (5 & 7) come to visit. I get to forget about work (mostly because I have no choice) and we just play all weekend. They may not even realize how much I need this time, because they are having fun as well. This is a time I get to move around A LOT and get creative, laugh, and love them to pieces. I am completely out of my normal regime while getting completely fulfilled with the love they reciprocate and the joy I feel just being with them. This weekend is my play date with them and I cannot wait!

What would you like to do for a play date? Take some time to imagine and formulate what a play date is for you and on those days when you feel depleted, set time aside to have it and embrace it fully. You really do deserve it. All work and no play makes 's life a bit dull, wouldn't you say?
