Hello !
I hate to admit it , but sometimes I worry about things; money, future, health. I know better than to worry. Some may not even call it worry, but I know that if I have even the slightest bit of doubt about something then I am worried. Have you ever felt the toll that worry takes on your body? Exhaustion, depletion, and the feeling of being disoriented? It's not pretty.
We've all heard the clichés, 'worry is a wasted emotion', and 'worry is the absence of faith'. Basically, Worry is FEAR. I consider myself courageous and yet I still have bouts of worry. Maybe we all do.
When I think about my life going in the direction I desire, worry is not an invited guest. Worry is an anchor to my spirit and my mind. So, my commitment is to move forward with complete courage and faith, and I know that will propel me further than any bit of worry can do.
I am not here to beat myself up for worrying. It is an internal energy that I have complete control over. To rid myself of it, I do not ignore it or suppress it.
Instead, I sit in quiet with it - always keeping the intention to release it. I do my very best to just BE with it and allow it to run its course and dissipate naturally and effortlessly. I then realign with my courage and faith and move forward from there. It's a great feeling when you know you are not a victim to fearful thoughts.
Please let me know how you manage worry in your life .
Enthusiastically,
Fran
