SOOTHING YOUR THOUGHTS
 

Greetings!   

 

Did you know that confronting thoughts can be soothed?  

 

When you have a fearful or negative thought, the more you think about it the bigger it gets. And the more upset you get.  

 

Soothing a thought is similar to diffusing it. It would look something like this: "Even though I am afraid of... or I am angry at... or I am challenged by.... I choose to look in the direction of a positive outcome". Be specific for your situation.  It isn't always easy,but it feels better and helps you have more control over your emotions.  

 

So, just for today , think in the direction of the solution or the vision or the opportunity and soothe every thought.
