June 12, 2015
Dear NCGS Community,

The countdown is on with only one week to go before the opening of the 2015 NCGS Conference, From STEM to STEAM: Girls' Schools Leading the Way. The entire NCGS team is heading to Richmond next Friday to meet up with our hosting partners at St. Catherine's School and will be joined by our Board of Trustees and over 500 conference registrants on Monday, June 22 -- a historic number of attendees for any previous NCGS hosted June conference!

The final 2015 NCGS Conference program is now available online, complete with a detailed schedule, session descriptions with presenters, and keynote and featured speaker bios.

Throughout the Conference we invite you to stay connected via the NCGS mobile app. A new feature this year, our mobile app allows you to view the full conference schedule, select sessions to attend for planning your days, network with attendees, receive conference updates, and compete for prizes. Logging in is as easy as:

  1. Download the National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS) app from iTunes or Play store
  2. Open app and select 2015 NCGS Conference
  3. Tap the Networking icon, select Sign In, and enter your unique Registration Code (sent via email) and email address

Looking for a fun way to explore everything the 2015 NCGS Conference has to offer? Interested in winning prizes like a Go Pro or iPad mini? Check out the Click! scavenger hunt game available exclusively through the NCGS mobile app. Click! will give attendees the opportunity to earn points and win prizes by taking photos and completing a series of fun challenges. We hope you marked your calendars for February 7-9 for the 2016 Global Forum on Girls' Education, Creating a World of Possibilities, in the heart of New York, NY!

The Global Forum will be an opportunity to bring together leading educators, researchers, advocates, authors, practitioners, and related-industry leaders from across the globe to exchange best practices and innovative approaches for academic excellence and the healthy development of girls. We will address themes and topics that are universal in nature, such as Leadership, Health & Wellness, STEAM, Civic/Community Engagement, Classroom Innovation, Strategic School Advancement, Testing & Assessment, and Teaching & Curriculum.

In July, NCGS will open a Call for Proposals for the first-ever Global Forum on Girls' Education. We wanted to give you advance notice so you can start thinking now about submitting a proposal -- or two... or three! -- on your area of expertise.

NCGS is proud to host this groundbreaking conference in partnership with preeminent educational organizations from all over the globe including our founding partner, the  Young Women's Leadership Network, as well as the Girls' Schools Association (U.K.), Alliance of Girls Schools Australasia, Philippine Alliance for Girls' Education, European Association of Single-Sex Education, Young Women's Preparatory Network,  Canadian Accredited Independent Schools, South African Girls' Schools Association, Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa, and New York State Association of Independent Schools.
