April 12, 2013
Dear Members,

It is hard to believe, but there are only four days left to register at the Early Bird Rate for the NCGS 2013 Annual Conference, Launching Future Leaders: Preparing Today's Girls to Shape Tomorrow's World.

Early Bird Registration ends on Monday, April 15!

I encourage you to take a minute to look at the 2013 Annual Conference section of the NCGS website. You will find descriptions detailing the diverse array of Pre-Conference Sessions, bios for the two recently announced Keynote Speakers (with more to come!), and we have started posting the Session descriptions with more being added to the site weekly.

Launching FutuConference Logore Leaders will provide educators with strategies to develop girls with the confidence, skills, and convictions to become the next generation of female leaders. With a focus on political and economic leadership--two areas where women continue to be underrepresented as highlighted by several of the articles and the political ambition gender gap research report included in our "In the News" section--we will address how to engage girls in these and other sectors to leverage their voices as leaders most effectively now and into the future.

Best wishes,
Megan

Prospective Family Surveys Now Available

Have you ever wondered why an accepted family chose to enroll at one of your peer institutions instead of your own? Or what characteristics about your school applicant families consider the most important influencers of their decision making?

NCGS is happy to be able to offer our member schools a simple, cost-effective way to gather this data.

Our 2013 set of three web-based electronic surveys for your prospective families to complete is now available. Each survey will be customized with your school's logo, your personalized introduction and closing, and your desired survey deadline. You may also add up to five unique-to-your-school questions.

Click here for more details and to view sample surveys. This data from prospective families, collected electronically, is a valuable resource for strategic planning, marketing, and influencing family decision making.

Let us know by May 15, 2013, if you want to take advantage of this opportunity!
