Marta Call

Set to Retire

Marta Call joined our team in the spring of 2005 as the manager of our new Richmond east branch. Marta brought years of talent in the banking industry, but more importantly she brought a passion for people.

Her goal was always to help the member. She took care of her members like they were family because to Marta they were family. She was extremely successful in her roles at PCCU and was a mentor to many.

Marta's enthusiasm and friendship will be sadly missed at PCCU.  Marta plans to spend her retirement with her 'grand babies' and some well deserved R&R.

PCCU Announces Three New Services Coming in January 2014

#1 Health Savings Accounts

A health savings account can help you stay on top of rising health care costs and provide you with tax-deferred savings.

To keep your balance when faced with mounting medical expenses, a health savings account (HSA) may be a viable tool for you.

With its various features and financial benefits, you'll not only have protection against major health care costs, but a potential reservoir of tax-deferred savings if you don't need the HSA assets for medical expenses.

Some benefits include:

* Protection against catastrophic medical expenses

* Savings tool with investment earnings

* Flexibility to pay current medical expenses or save for future needs

* Balance carries over from year to year

* Tax-deferred earnings

* Tax- deductible contributions

* Remains with you regardless of change in coverage or employment

Learn more about HSAs and find out if you are eligible to have one by picking up a brochure at one of our branches.

#2 Mechanical Repair Coverage

We are excited to announce this new service coming in January 2014.

What is Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC)?

It's hard to anticipate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Budgeting for this can be difficult and can tie up funds earmarked for other needs. MEMBER'S CHOICE Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC) helps pay for repairs on your vehicle*, giving you more control to help you keep your car on the road where it should be.

How does it work?
If your vehicle breaks down, Mechanical Repair Coverage pays
for the cost of covered repairs, less any deductible, at any
authorized repair facility in the U.S. or Canada. By taking a few
simple steps while signing your loan paperwork, you're taking
responsibility for your financial future. Your PCCU loan officer can show you how.

You can cancel within 60 days for a full refund. Or you can cancel anytime after that for a pro-rated refund. If at any time you have questions, simply contact your credit union.

Why is it valuable?
Typically, as the age of your vehicle increases so does the average cost of repairs. That's why Mechanical Repair Coverage is so valuable. Additionally, MRC provides rental reimbursement, 24-hour emergency roadside assistance and travel expense reimbursement. And if you sell your vehicle privately, the coverage can be transferred.

Be sure to ask a PCCU employee for a brochure which will explain the exact terms, conditions, and exclusions of this voluntary product.

* Up to your policy maximum per terms of your contract agreement.
