Your hometown credit union PCCU is partnering with Banzai, an online financial literacy program. Soon this very dynamic program will be available to 14 local middle/high schools in the Wayne and Henry counties all as a FREE resource to teachers through PCCU's financial resources!
As we partner with area schools, Banzai will provide teachers who participate with printed copies of the Banzai Life Scenarios workbook and online tools. The Life Scenarios booklet is the base of Banzai's curriculum. It works as a guidebook for Banzai's online simulations. Using the Life Scenarios, the students will receive fictional income and expense transactions similar to those they'll encounter in real life. As they track their progress, they will learn important life lessons about budgeting and making trade-offs.
PCCU's Education Director, Kim Welch will be the area school contact continuing to build relationships with even more teachers. She will be offering additional opportunities to further enhance the financial education of the students involved by hosting additional activities and events to help students have fun learning about managing their money. This program will also be used when a student opens a checking account at our credit union and will be a great resource for home schooled teens. Program launch date is set for the middle of October! PCCU and Banzai are devoted to teaching the life long lessons of financial literacy!

Survey Says...
PCCU conducted a member survey in August to gauge our members' level of satisfaction with the credit union. We use the results of this survey for staff training and strategic decisions.
Nearly 6,000 surveys were mailed and over 9% of PCCU members responded to the survey.
Members were asked, "If you were to make a recommendation, how likely are you to recommend PCCU to a friend, family member, or colleague?"
This question comes from the well-known survey, Net Promoter Score, or NPS. NPS is based on the fundamental perspective that every company's customers can be divided into three categories: Promoters, Passives, and Detractors. A score of 9 or 10 is called a "Promoter" of PCCU. A score of 0-6 is called a "Detractor" of PCCU and a score of 7 or 8 is considered "Passive."
85% of Members are Promoters of PCCU
PCCU scored a 78% NPS. In April, Satmetrix released the NPS Industry Report 2013, reporting banking institutions had an average NPS score of 29%. PCCU is proud to offer the highest quality products and services. Members of PCCU find value in their credit union and trust them to meet their financial needs.
