We hope you're enjoying a happy, healthy spring! We're already at Week 4 of our spring session and summer is right around the corner! We've included some important upcoming class information below, along with some additional programs we'll be hosting. Next Week Is Safety Week at CSS! 
Week five of our swim session is Safety Week. During this week, we provide intensive focus on safety and survival skills. The focus varies by level, but all students spend some time in the water without their goggles to help eliminate the fear or panic that could accompany falling into water unexpectedly. Depending on age and class level, students will work on skills varying from floats and submersions to treading water, using life jackets, and swimming with clothes on. With summer around the corner, and more families participating in water activities...this is a great time for all students to review how to make themselves safer in and around the water.
Because this is special curriculum, there are no make-ups being scheduled for next week, April 8-13.

Join Us For CPR Certification on
April 13th 
Chicago Swim School is so passionate about keeping our families and
swimmers safe that we offer regular CPR classes for only $25 at our Arlington Heights Facility.
We encourage everyone to add CPR to their emergency response plan.
Our next class is Saturday, April 13th 1:30pm - 4:00pm with our amazing Heartsaver instructor Kim Albright. You will receive a certification card good for 2 years for child CPR, adult CPR, and AED certification.
How to sign up:
We ask that you pay when you register. The class is open to the general public, ages 9 and up, and does fill up quickly. Because we want to ensure as many people as possible can participate, we have the following refund agreement:
- Cancellations 48 hours prior will be provided a full refund
- Cancellations 24 hours before will be given credit toward a future class

We're Hiring Swim Instructors!
We are looking to hire swim instructors for our Arlington Heights and Glenview locations. Since we had such success in finding a Marketing Leader through our parents, we are looking for swim instructor referrals from the people that know exactly what type of personalities make a great fit in our program! If you know of someone that would make a great swim instructor with a great outgoing personality, please have them contact Rob Jacobsen either by email or phone, (847) 870-7946 x7011.

Save the Date for the World's Largest Swim Lesson on June 18th!
 On June 18th, 2013, tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities around the world will unite for the fourth year in a row to set a new Guinness World Record. The global record attempt for The World's Largest Swimming Lesson ™ (WLSL), will take place at 10am.
Team WLSL holds the current Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson, which stands at 24,873 participants representing 15 different countries across five continents!
The Chicago Swim School is proud to be serving as an official Host Location Facility in Arlington Heights for the WLSL 2013 event. Parents are invited to learn more about this phenomenal event by visiting WLSL.org.
