Star - Spangled

As fireworks light the sky celebrating the 238th birthday of our country, we have some of our very own bright spots to commemorate in 2014. We first want to wish many happy returns to David Stock on his 75th birthday last month. Currently nearing completion of an album on the BMOP Sound label, he's also completed several new works, notably including his 12th string quartet!

Heartfelt congratulations are also in order for Juan Orrego-Salas on his 95th birthday year and recent NewMusicBox feature on his remarkable career.

More birthdays and anniversaries.
