Peng-Peng Gong - The Next Chapter

PPG Shanghai canvas On May 16th, Peng-Peng Gong gives his farewell concert at Juilliard's Paul Recital Hall to mark the occasion of his graduation from the esteemed school. As he put it, "It has been 11 years of my Juilliard (and America in general) experience, including 7 in Pre-College, and I felt that I must share that sentiment and gratitude toward this remarkable community in a heartfelt and creative way." Following almost immediately after graduation, Gong will embark on a two year Artist Residency with the Shanghai Philharmonic. Read more.

Announcing the Heifetz Collection

 

We are very pleased to announce our exclusive representation of the Heifetz Estate by releasing a new series of Jascha Heifetz editions. Editors Stephen Shipps and Endre Granat have uncovered Heifetz's wonderful and yet previously unpublished arrangements and transcriptions at the Library of Congress. Two gems mark the series launch this month, including his editions of Wieniawski's Polonaise Brillante No. 2 (from the composer's original manuscript) and Handel's Passacaglia for Two Violins which includes a Violin 2 part he wrote.

2014 Clarinet and Violin Publications

This will be a year of exciting new releases--especially if you happen to play violin or clarinet. In addition to the Heifetz Collection above, violinists can look forward to Bach's Toccata and Fuge (solo violin), Angel's Touch by celebrated Ukranian composer Yevhen Stankovych, and Stephen Hartke's Netsuke. Clarinetists will also enjoy Hartke's Clarinet Concerto edited by Richard Stoltzman, with a Critical Urtext edition of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto by Charles Neidich within his 21st Century Repertoire Series.
