April 13th Supper Club is Filling up Fast!

Enjoy a special buffet at the Renaissance Hotel, adjacent to the Vets, 6:00pm and then take your seat for the 8:00pm performance featuring fabulous music of Beethoven with conductor Larry Rachleff and YOUR Orchestra! Reserve your space now as the dinner is filling up fast! This month Resident Conductor Francisco Noya will give a pre-concert talk at 6:30pm. Cost for the Dinner is $35 per person including taxes and gratuity. A Cash Bar is available.
Join us in the Handel & Haydn Room for a cocktail at 6:00pm, the pre-concert talk at 6:30pm and the dinner buffet beginning at 7:00pm.

Eat, Drink... Support Music in Schools!

Come support the RI Philharmonic on Sunday, April 21, at Eat Drink RI's delicious Grand Brunch at Gracies! You'll get to savor the tasty creations of some of RI's best chefs, bartenders and pastry chefs at this culminating event in the Eat Drink RI Festival. Proceeds will benefit the RI Philharmonic's FLEX Program, which aims to provide access to quality music education for every elementary student in the state. The event will feature the Philharmonic Music School's own steel pan drummer Rick Andre and jazz pianist Ron Sanfilippo, along with some very talented students. Summer at the Philharmonic Music School

During the summer, the Philharmonic Music School offers lessons on over 20 different instruments and voice as well as classes and ensembles. We will also be providing music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. New this summer, we're excited to offer courses in Ableton Live, one of the recording world's most popular programs for music production, recording and live performance.

Suzuki Guitar Recital on 4/27

Guitar students of Mychal Gendron will present their year's work in an All Guitar Groups Recital on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 pm in the Large Hall. Twinkle through Level II Suzuki Guitar Groups and the Suzuki Guitar Ensemble will perform varied repertoire, featuring the popular children's book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf, which has been arranged for narrator and guitar ensemble. The Vets is located at 1 Avenue of the Arts in Providence, RI adjacent to the Renaissance Hotel. Please follow the links for directions or to find the VETS with Google Maps.
Construction Alert
Please Allow Extra Time!
Due to construction of the Vets, Park Street is closed to both cars and walking between the Providence Place Mall Garage and Avenue of the Arts, and is limited to one lane of northbound traffic only from Avenue of the Arts to Smith Street. Construction detours are in effect throughout the remainder of the current Philharmonic season. Please follow the temporary routes listed on the Directions page of our website.

Did You Know? |
PARKING. . . is free at both the State parking lot next to the Capitol building and the lot directly ACROSS Smith Street, or pay $2 for up to 5 hours at the Mall Parking Garage for both Classical and Amica Rush Hour concerts.
For every Classical concert the Philharmonic runs shuttle buses between the Capitol parking lot and The Vets entrance: before the concert from 7pm to 8pm and after the concert continuing until the end of Larry's post-concert chat.
For every Classical and Rush Hour concert the Philharmonic offers a post-concert Q&A with Larry Rachleff. He generally brings the guest soloist or a member of the Orchestra out with him.
