Seal
Greetings!

Our long-standing tradition of personally delivering checks to our SIMinarians never fails to ignite the spirit to stay the course of SIM's founding purpose to "aid suitable persons for the Episcopal ministry in acquiring a thorough education."

We are blessed with so many for whom we give thanks:
      • our eight visionary founders who in 1857, a time of intensifying schism in our country, invested in building the future of the Church;
      • our donors, past and present, who have not quenched the spirit of keeping SIM's 155 year old ministry relevant and important;
      • our seminaries who wrestle with the changing requirements of providing a "thorough education";
      • our bishops and dioceses who select and sponsor "suitable persons for the Episcopal ministry";
      • our staff, board and committee members who "aid" our SIMinarians with time, talent and treasure;
      • And, of course, our SIMinarians who have responded to calls and are "acquiring" a theological education to serve The Episcopal Church as future ordained leaders. We are thankful to God for their faith, courage, and commitment.
We are also especially filled with gratitude for all who comprehend the need in The Episcopal Church to address funding theological education in the development of our future ordained leaders.

May you have a wonderfully meaningful Thanksgiving,

Faithfully,
