ATRC is pleased to announce that Eric Dishman of the Intel Corporation (Portland, OR) will be in Honolulu as a special guest speaker at several events on April 10-11, 2014. Mr. Dishman, an Intel Fellow and General Manager of Intel's Health & Life Sciences, is responsible for driving Intel's global strategy for growth and new business innovation in health, wellness, and life sciences. His organization is chartered to deliver innovative computing technologies and solutions that improve healthcare quality, cost, and access to billions of people worldwide. Mr. Dishman will be engaging with Hawaii's healthcare, gerontology, academic, IT and business communities in a series of public dialogues. His discussions will focus on developing information and communication technology across the continuum of healthcare from hospital to home; the needs of the aging population and use of technology to promote health and wellness; research and product development; as well as highlight economic opportunities in in-home and health care technologies.
