Greetings!
This December, Upstream presents two different perspectives on vocal music. Sunday, December 13th, we are pleased to welcome local singer/songwriter Caleb, along with the Dobbs Ferry High School Acappella and Octet Choirs. They will be joined by students of voice teacher, Dr. Andrea Saposnik, in a eclectic afternoon of original materials, classics and pop music.
Since July, 2011, Caleb has been working with famed producer, PJ Bianco who is known most notably as the writer and producer for the Jonas Brothers, Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Metro Station, LP and Miley Cyrus among other artists.
Caleb's song "Falling Over You," won acclaim abroad in 2012 and hit #1 on Pop Radio charts in Australia in 2012. Caleb was voted #1 up and coming artist of the year for 2012 in Australia. He has captured the attention of many in the music industry in NY & LA. Caleb's self titled album was released at the end of January, 2013 and is available on iTunes and Amazon. About Us: Since 1991 Upstream has been a unique community of arts professionals whose members work together cooperatively. Artist members look to Upstream as a venue for experimentation, mutual support and artistic growth. The gallery embraces all fine arts media and all styles from realism to abstraction. Upstream is an emerging resource for new or experienced art collectors as well as area curators, designers and art consultants.
In 2012 we started our exciting "Live at The Upstream" Music series to bring the Rivertowns Art and Music communities closer together. We program all forms of live music, from rock to jazz to classical. We thank all the artists in these communities who have made this series such a success.
